Job Summary

The role of the Tax Manager is a senior position that involves leading our compliance function and overseeing tax return preparation.

This role requires strategic thinking, leadership skills, and technical expertise in tax law and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a team to review and prepare tax returns for clients.
  • Develop and implement effective tax strategies to minimize client liabilities.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior team members on complex tax matters.
  • Communicate directly with clients to obtain necessary information and provide updates on their tax situations.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in accounting or related field.
  • Expert knowledge of US Federal and state tax laws and regulations.
  • Experience with forms 1120, 1120s, 1065, 1040, 1041, and not for profit return preparation and review.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other financial software.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
