Job Description:

  • Design a wide range of original vector-based icons that meet the highest standards and are uploaded to a leading online design platform. Ensure timely preparation for review and publishing, meeting agreed performance metrics.
  • Record your work accurately in personal trackers and team tracking systems.
  • Craft relevant tags to help customers find the icon designs on the website.
  • Develop unique and original icons for logo makers and other template libraries on the online design platform.
  • Edit and enhance existing icons and template inventory that require updates.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members on assignments, ensuring alignment with project briefs.
  • Provide support to the in-house logo team as needed, including helping with task completion.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience working as an in-house graphic designer, agency, or freelancer with expertise in icon or logo creation.
  • Proficiency in using design software and technologies, including Adobe Illustrator.
  • A strong portfolio of icon designs or a link to an online graphic design portfolio with your application.
  • A degree in Design, Fine Arts, or a related field, or equivalent work experience designing icons is essential.
  • Exceptional visual taste and aesthetics are must-haves.
  • Knowledge of color combinations to create stunning icons.
  • Staying up-to-date with graphic design trends.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • The ability to work methodically and meet deadlines.
  • A keen goal-setter who can set goals and achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) and targets.
  • A self-starter who can work independently and collaboratively in a team.
  • A confident level of business English for editing the icons you make and search engine optimization (SEO).
  • Experience selling vector icons on stock platforms and knowledge of stock platform template libraries is a plus.
  • Comfortable working with Google Suite products and messaging apps like Slack.
  • A reliable internet connection with a minimum bandwidth of 10 mbps.
  • A conducive home office environment.
