Job Opportunity

A high-caliber Senior Tax Accountant is required to oversee tax engagements, guide junior accountants, and ensure timely lodgements meet ATO standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and review income tax returns for individuals, companies, partnerships, and trusts with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Ensure full compliance with Australian taxation laws and regulations by preparing and lodging Business Activity Statements (BAS) and Instalment Activity Statements (IAS).
  • Provide advisory support to clients on tax planning, forecasting, and other tax-related matters.
  • Review financial statements and work papers for accuracy and completeness, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and industry developments, applying this knowledge to enhance client services.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in Australian taxation, with a strong understanding of tax laws and regulations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and time management abilities.
