IT Infrastructure Operations Director

Ampstek LLC is seeking a highly skilled Data Center Operations Lead to oversee the day-to-day operations and maintenance of all owned and co-located data center facilities. The successful candidate will have a strong background in IT infrastructure management and a proven track record of ensuring high availability and performance of critical IT services.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent technical knowledge of data center infrastructure components, including power distribution, cooling systems, fire suppression, physical security, and monitoring tools. They will also have experience with IT service management (ITSM) frameworks such as ITIL and familiarity with monitoring and management tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios, SCOM).
In addition to their technical expertise, the Data Center Operations Lead will be responsible for leading and managing a team of technical engineers responsible for the operation, monitoring, and maintenance of critical IT infrastructure components. They will also be responsible for developing and implementing operational standards, policies, and procedures for IT infrastructure management.
The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field and a minimum of 10-12 years of progressive experience in IT infrastructure operations. They will also have a proven track record of successfully managing technical teams and a strong understanding of security principles and best practices relevant to data center and infrastructure operations.
