Structural Supervisor

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Supervisor to join our team at Subic Drydock Corporation. As a key member of our fabrication team, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating activities of workers engaged in welding and cutting of products and structures.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze work orders and blueprints to determine need for supplies and sequence of operations required.
• Requisition supplies, such as weld rods, gas, flux, and fixtures.
• Inspect work or confer with QA to maintain specified standards and quality.
• Train workers in operation of equipment.
• Coordinate with other trade shops to accomplish work orders.
• Plan work simultaneously to finish job orders in due time.
• Supervise brazing and soldering operations, fitting and assembly of structural frames.
• Responsible for the supervision of time keeping of subordinates and their work records.
• Direct and supervise subordinates at Subic Docks work zone for safety.
• Make progress reports to analyze work status.
• Perform other related duties and responsibilities assigned.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of welding and cutting techniques, materials, and equipment, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills.
