About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in database administration, with expertise in MariaDB or MySQL. They should be able to demonstrate advanced skills in SQL tuning, database performance optimization, backup, and recovery strategies.

Responsibilities
  1. Design and implement databases that meet business requirements, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
  2. Develop and maintain database performance tuning and optimization strategies to ensure optimal system performance.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify database-related issues and develop solutions.
  4. Analyze and troubleshoot database issues, applying problem-solving skills to resolve complex problems.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in database administration, with a strong focus on MariaDB or MySQL.
  • Proven track record of designing, implementing, and managing high-performance databases.
  • Expertise in replication configuration, data modeling, and database security.
  • Strong understanding of database concepts, including data structures, indexing, and query optimization.
