About the Role

This is a challenging opportunity for a highly skilled and results-driven collections professional to excel in our team. As a collections specialist, you will be responsible for contacting customers regarding overdue accounts via phone and email, negotiating payment arrangements and settlements, and maintaining detailed records of all collection activities.

We are looking for someone who is articulate, professional, and able to work in a fast-paced environment. If you possess strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to remain calm and professional under pressure, we encourage you to apply.

  • Contact customers regarding overdue accounts via phone and email.
  • Negotiate payment arrangements and settlements.
  • Update account information and payment statuses.
  • Follow up on broken promises and missed payments.
  • Adhere to compliance and regulatory standards.
  • Maintain detailed records of all collection activities.
  • Meet or exceed daily and monthly collection targets.

Please note that this role requires a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills. You should also be comfortable working in a dynamic and rapidly changing environment.

Requirements
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish.
  • Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
  • Familiarity with debt collection laws and practices is a plus.
  • Previous experience in collections or customer service preferred.
