Job Opportunity

We are developing a cutting-edge social media platform with integrated AI features for a client in the Middle East.

The system will be consumer-facing, optimized for high-traffic performance, fast load speeds, and robust caching strategies.

You will collaborate closely with the project architect/manager to deliver high-quality, scalable features on both the frontend and backend.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain frontend features using TypeScript, React, and Next.js.
  • Build and maintain backend services using TypeScript, Node.js, and a chosen backend framework.
  • Ensure high performance, fast load times, and optimal caching techniques for consumer-facing web applications.
  • Collaborate with the project manager/architect in daily stand-ups to review progress and clarify requirements.
  • Work from provided requirements, designs, and wireframes to implement features efficiently.
  • Commit clean, maintainable code to a shared repository and follow best practices for code reviews and version control.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years professional experience in web development.
  • Strong proficiency in TypeScript for both frontend and backend development.
  • Proven experience with React.js and Next.js in production environments.
  • Solid backend experience with Node.js and related frameworks.
  • Demonstrated ability to build consumer-facing web applications that handle high traffic.
  • Knowledge of performance optimization techniques (e.g., lazy loading, caching strategies, asset optimization).
  • Familiarity with modern development workflows (Git, ticketing systems, CI/CD).
