
Construction Financial Administrator

We are seeking a skilled Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in financial record-keeping, invoicing, and payroll management. A strong understanding of construction-specific accounting practices is essential.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, and reconciling bank statements. They will also track and allocate costs to specific projects, monitor project budgets, and provide reports on variances.
Additionally, the Bookkeeper will process payroll for construction workers, ensure compliance with prevailing wage laws, union agreements, and tax regulations. They will also prepare and file tax documents, including sales tax, payroll tax, and other regulatory filings.
A bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field is preferred, along with proficiency in construction-specific accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Procore. Some light programming skills are also a plus.
