Packaging Design Expertise

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Packaging Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in structural design for folding cartons, with a passion for precision, creativity and technical expertise in packaging design.

Responsibilities:
  • Create Innovative Packaging Solutions: Develop functional, brand-appropriate and cost-efficient packaging for clients.
  • Design Dielines and 3D Prototypes: Use ArtiosCAD or Cimex CAD Design to create prototypes and dielines.
  • Collaborate with Clients and Production Teams: Ensure accurate specs and production readiness for clients.
  • Recommend Box Styles and Materials: Recommend box styles and materials based on product protection, cost-efficiency and branding.
  • Maintain Organized Project Files: Maintain organized project files and version control.
  • Optimize Structural Design: Optimize structural design for manufacturability and assembly.
  • Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Trends: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and materials.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 Years of Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in folding carton/structural packaging design.
  • Proficient in CAD Design: Proficient in ArtiosCAD or Cimex CAD Design.
  • Strong Understanding of Packaging Materials: Strong understanding of packaging materials, die-cutting, gluing and finishing processes.
  • Detail-Oriented and Organized: Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent Communication and Teamwork Skills: Ability to interpret client needs and translate them into packaging solutions.
