
Commercial Lines Insurance Professional

Serve as a key team member in the commercial lines department, providing education to clients and attracting new business.
- Develop proposals for agency producers to increase revenue growth.
- Quote policies with top-rated carriers, such as Auto-Owners and Liberty Mutual, to provide clients with optimal coverage options.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products and markets to make informed decisions.
- Focus on client retention and sales growth by cross-selling and expanding existing accounts.
- Service existing clients through personal interactions, email, or phone calls by preparing renewals, processing claims, and making policy changes.
Insurance Knowledge & Experience
- 5-7 years of experience in commercial lines insurance (preferred).
- Strong understanding of property and casualty insurance policies, coverages, and products.
- Familiarity with independent insurance agencies' operations.
- Knowledge of quoting policies with major carriers.
Customer Service & Communication Skills
- Excellent spoken and written English skills.
- Experience handling customer inquiries, policy changes, and claims assistance.
- Ability to professionally manage and respond to phone calls and emails.
Sales & Upselling Abilities
- Ability to recognize opportunities for cross-selling or upselling policies.
Administrative & Process-Oriented Skills
- Ability to manage certificates of insurance, evidence of property insurance, and homeowners insurance documentation.
Technical & System Proficiency
- Experience with agency management systems.
Time Management & Organization
- Ability to accurately process multiple tasks under deadlines.

- Strong problem-solving skills.
