Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Drafter to join our design and manufacturing team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings that guide the fabrication and assembly of custom furniture products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform technical drafting and design documentation duties, including creating detailed 2D and 3D technical drawings and schematics using CAD software.
  • Translate design concepts and sketches into fully dimensioned production-ready technical documents.
  • Prepare exploded views, assembly instructions, and component lists to support fabrication and installation processes.
  • Maintain organized documentation of all revisions, drawings, and technical records.
  • Collaborate with furniture designers and production teams to ensure technical drawings align with design intent, manufacturing capabilities, and material specifications.
  • Review and adjust designs for structural integrity, ergonomics, and material efficiency.
  • Provide technical support during prototyping, fabrication, and installation phases.
  • Troubleshoot design or material issues that arise during production.
  • Ensure all designs comply with applicable safety and quality standards, including load requirements and material tolerances.
  • Perform checks on all drawings before release to ensure dimensional accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
  • Work with vendors and suppliers to verify component compatibility and cost-efficiency.
