Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Specialist to join our team at UnionBank of the Philippines. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing business intelligence dashboards, reports, and MIS that provide data-driven insights to enable various groups in the bank to monitor their key metrics against goals.

The ideal candidate will have experience in data extraction, reporting, and data analysis, with a strong background in a quantitative discipline such as Math, Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or Economics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and operationalize business dashboards, reports, and MIS that help business leaders monitor their business drivers against goals and understand customer behavior.
  • Deliver accurate, comprehensive, and timely data and insights to address control, compliance, or regulatory-related requirements.
  • Ensure the delivery of data and reports during compliance and external audits.
  • Find opportunities to automate data and report generation, as well as rationalize existing reports to ensure there is value in all reports generated.
  • Support Data Warehouse development activities, including UAT.
  • Collaborate with other business units to ensure outputs are according to business specifications and within standard turnaround time.

Qualifications:

  • 1-5 years of working experience in a data-related field.
  • Experience in data extraction, reporting, and data analysis.
  • Bachelor's degree with a strong academic background in a quantitative discipline.
  • Proficient in coding languages such as SQL, Python, R.
  • Familiar with business intelligence platforms such as Tableau, PowerBI, Amazon Quicksight.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
