As an IT Security L1 Analyst for Identity and Access Management, you will be responsible for the daily IAM operational activities. This includes managing tickets, timely onboarding, offboarding, and cross boarding of domains and email accounts. Ensuring that IAM service levels are closely monitored and maintained is crucial. Scheduled access reviews are also required.
Responsibilities:
- Manage user and system accounts lifecycle, including provisioning, entitlement changes, deactivation, and deletion in accordance with established service levels.
- Work closely with IT, security, and business teams to manage user access, permissions, and IAM-related projects.
- Support employees regarding access requests, password resets, and IAM-related issues through a ticketing system.
- Perform access and entitlement reviews in accordance with established process and timelines.
- Manage IAM related technologies for account lifecycle management, privileged access management, SSO, and multi-factor authentication.
- Participate in incident response activities related to access control or unauthorized access.
- Evaluate IAM practices against security best practices and support the organization's overall security posture.
- Provide reports on access-related metrics to management and stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of IT Security experience.
- College Diploma or University Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology.
- Strong knowledge of user account lifecycle.
- Adept at Active Directory, Microsoft Entra, and Microsoft 365.
- Effective communication skills to explain IAM processes, policies, incidents, and best practices to non-technical stakeholders.
- A strong sense of ownership and collaborative approach to working in a team environment.
- Ability to multitask and work in a dynamic environment while adhering to procedures and guidelines.
