Job Description

The primary objective of this role is to ensure the General Account portfolios earn sufficient returns to pay policyholder liabilities and shareholder dividends. This involves direct portfolio management, robust investment research, and reporting. Key responsibilities include ensuring the Non-linked funds can fund policy liabilities and cash outflows with an Asset-Liability Management perspective.

  • Achieve benchmark return with no breach in risk limits as defined in the Risk Appetite Framework.
  • Ensure investment portfolio compliance with regulatory requirements, Non-Linked Investment Policy, and Risk Appetite Framework.
  • Monitor and efficiently manage liquidity.
  • Work closely with the ALM team to optimize asset-liability matching by understanding product level design and characteristics.
