Key Responsibilities:
  • Mechanical Engineers: Conduct thermal and structural analysis of solar PV module mounting systems and support structures. Size and select appropriate mechanical equipment such as tracking systems, inverters, and balance of system components. Develop installation procedures and oversee field assembly and integration. Perform failure mode and effects analysis to ensure system reliability and safety.
  • Civil Engineers: Assess site conditions and develop foundation designs for solar PV arrays and support infrastructure. Perform geotechnical investigations and soil analysis to determine optimal ground preparation. Design access roads, drainage systems, and other site civil works to enable solar project construction and operations. Ensure compliance with local building codes and environmental regulations.
  • Electrical Engineers: Size and select appropriate electrical equipment including inverters, transformers, switchgear, and grid interconnection. Develop single-line diagrams and wiring schematics for solar PV systems. Oversee installation of DC collection systems, AC electrical distribution, and grid-tied infrastructure. Develop commissioning plans and perform acceptance testing to verify system performance.

To be considered for this position, applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Electrical Engineering. A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in the renewable energy or power systems industry is also required. Strong technical skills in design, analysis, and project management are essential. Familiarity with solar PV technology, electrical systems, and construction practices is highly desirable. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities are also necessary. The ability to travel to project sites across the Philippines is expected.
