Job Summary:

The Technical Assistant will play a vital role in supporting our project managers and drafting teams. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work accurately under pressure. As a Technical Assistant, you will be responsible for reviewing drafted works, making corrections, and applying revisions as per project manager coordination.

  • This includes reviewing and ensuring accurate cost estimates of products, assisting in the interpretation of architectural drawings and specifications by preparing summary takeoffs, and evaluating purchase order item quotes with updated sets of plans.
Key Responsibilities:

As a Technical Assistant, your key responsibilities will include:

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture (preferably) with a license being a plus
  • At least 1-2 years of work experience in a related field
  • Excellent communication skills in English
  • Familiarity with the US measurement system and willingness to work on a graveyard shift
  • Willingness to work overtime and on a flexible work schedule
  • Ability to work on-site and off-site as required by the company
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and takeoff software
  • Keen attention to detail and ability to work with accuracy
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve discrepancies in projects
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural drawings including floor plans, elevations, sections, and spot details
  • High sense of responsibility and work ethics
