Documentation Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Documentation Specialist to create and organize informative guides and articles for our customers and employees.

The ideal candidate will have strong writing skills, the ability to simplify complex information, and experience working with technical teams.

  • Write clear technical documents, such as software guides, user manuals, and how-to articles.
  • Collaborate with software developers and product teams to understand new features.
  • Translate technical language into simple English that anyone can understand.
  • Create helpful images like diagrams, screenshots, and flowcharts.
  • Organize documents so people can easily find what they need.
  • Test instructions to ensure they work correctly.
  • Update old documents to keep them accurate and useful.
  • Work with support teams to identify documentation needs.
  • Develop standard formats and templates for consistent documentation.

In addition to these responsibilities, the ideal candidate will have:

  • A strong understanding of documentation software like Confluence or similar.
  • Excellent research skills to find information from different places.
  • Good organization and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working in a team environment and communicating clearly.

Bonus points will be given to candidates with experience in API documentation or other relevant areas.
