Your Responsibilities Include:- Developing cutting-edge automation frameworks that utilize Playwright for end-to-end (E2E) testing to ensure scalability and reliability.
- Leading the evolution of test automation architecture by implementing best-in-class design patterns and enhancing maintainability.
- Establishing standards for automation practices and setting up a center of excellence for test automation methodologies.
- Conducting in-depth research on emerging tools to further improve automation coverage, performance, and efficiency.
- Serving as a subject matter expert in Playwright and automation best practices, providing guidance and mentorship to junior and mid-level engineers.
- Providing strategic direction on test automation adoption across teams, influencing company-wide QA strategy.
- Reviewing code and establishing guidelines for automation test development.
- Leading training initiatives for manual QA engineers transitioning to automation roles.
- Creating highly efficient automated test scripts for functional, regression, performance, and API testing.
- Ensuring seamless integration of automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline, enabling continuous testing and deployment.
- Implementing parallel execution, distributed testing, and cloud-based automation solutions to boost test efficiency.
- Collaborating with DevOps and Engineering teams to enhance test execution strategies and reporting.
- Designing non-functional test scripts and executing them, with a solid understanding of performance testing.
- Tracking automation KPIs to measure improvements in test coverage, execution time, and defect detection.
- Establishing and maintaining test data management strategies for automated testing.
- Driving shift-left testing initiatives to integrate early-stage automation within the SDLC.
- Implementing AI-driven automation techniques to optimize test selection and execution.
- Partnering with Software Architects, Developers, Product Managers, and DevOps to prioritize quality-first development.
- Actively participating in Agile ceremonies, advocating for automation-driven testing approaches.
- Aligning automation efforts with business and technology goals through strategic initiatives.
