The Manitowoc Company is seeking a skilled Electromechanical Field Technician to join our team. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of cranes across the country.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform mechanical, hydraulic, and electronic/electrical testing, installation (or PIPs), troubleshooting, and repair of cranes.
  • Inspection and Diagnosis: Conduct inspection, diagnosis, and/or crane health checks to customers nationwide.
  • Training and Commissioning: Provide operator trainings and commissioning on new or used cranes sold to customers.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Prepare field service reports and provide recommended parts and maintenance to customers.
  • Additional Tasks: Accomplish all required reports and documentation, attend necessary service trainings, and properly use and upkeep assigned company assets.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Electromechanical Technology / Mechanical Engineering or 2-year technical course specializing in Electromechanical technology.
  • Skills: Must have basic English oral and written communication skills, computer literate, able to read and interpret technical diagrams, and able to drive.
  • Work Environment: Able to work overtime as required and willing to travel extensively domestically.
