Key Responsibilities:
  • We require a candidate who can supervise compliance with all accounting and financial requirements of the management, including financial statements, variance reports, and financial analyses.
  • The ideal candidate will conduct surprise audits of the petty cash fund every quarter and be responsible for monitoring and analyzing project-related expenses, inventory, accounts payable, non-trade/retention payables, advances/down payments to suppliers, refundable transactions, payroll cost distribution, receivables, and fixed assets.
  • We need someone who can participate in overseeing, prioritizing, assigning, and reviewing the work of staff involved in project accounting, as well as train project staff on how to record or transact AP, PR, PO cash journal, journal entries, GR/GI, etc.
  • The successful candidate will coordinate with the project control division regarding generated monthly revenue, billed receivables, and unbilled receivables.
  • Responsibilities also include preparing COC-JIP, JIP-Assets, and actual cost analysis during month-end, preparing bank reconciliation statements every month, cascading and implementing strict compliance with all accounting-related policies and guidelines at the project, ensuring advances/down payments to suppliers are recouped on time, reconciling actual inventory/assets/low-value assets vs. SAP records, ensuring that cash advances are recorded and liquidated on time, and preparing project close-out reports.
Requirements:
  • A graduate of a Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Management Accounting, Accounting Technology is required.
  • Fresh graduates of BS Accountancy or any accountancy courses are welcome to apply, and being open to Non-CPAs is an advantage.
  • The ideal candidate should have good analytical and problem-solving skills and be knowledgeable in all fields of finance, accounting, and taxation.
  • SAP user experience is preferred.

This position is a Project Hire and available in Nueva Ecija. The work set-up is On Site.
