Job Description

As a Sr. WordPress Developer-PH, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining various websites for 3GC Group Manila, Philippines.

Your primary responsibilities will include creating visually appealing sites with user-friendly design and clear navigation, working with debugging tools such as Chrome Inspector and Firebug, and staying up-to-date on current web development standards, protocols, and processes.

Additionally, you will be responsible for creating immersive experiences for users through micro animations, designing and managing the website back-end, including database and server integration, and navigating and utilizing the WPEngine dashboard.

You will also collaborate with the development team to develop and maintain the website(s), conduct WordPress training with clients when needed, and stay up-to-date on technology.

Finally, you will attend regular meetings/check-ins with the dev team, project managers, and business stakeholders, and perform other ad-hoc duties related to the role as assigned.

Requirements:
  • Proven work experience as a WordPress developer using custom-built themes.
  • At least 4+ years of experience working as a WordPress Developer.
  • Worked on at least 5 websites in the past, links to sample works or portfolio will be requested.
  • Expertise in CSS animations and a portfolio of production websites with CSS animations.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or any related field.
  • Familiarity with WordPress Template Hierarchy.
  • Basic SEO Integration to the WordPress project.
  • Proficiency in front-end technologies including SASS, CSS3, JavaScript, HTML5, AlpineJS, jQuery.
  • Proficiency in back-end developments such as WordPress, PHP, MySQL, API integrations, JSON, and XML.
  • Proficiency in CSS Frameworks such as Bootstrap, Foundation, or TailwindCSS.
  • Experience in GIT workflows and code versioning tools such as Git, Github, or Gitlab.
  • Proficient in customizing the WordPress development using ACF, Gutenberg, custom components, Yoast SEO, Gravity Forms, and custom plugins.
  • Basic knowledge of Web Apps for site maintenance such as Google Analytics and Tag Manager.
  • Adept in using SEO Figma, Sketch, Invision, GIT, WPEngine, Pardot, and HubSpot, and various web compliance standards.
  • Good experience working with debugging tools such as Chrome Inspector and Firebug.
  • Good understanding of website architecture and aesthetics.
  • Strong understanding of current web development standards, protocols, and processes.
  • Ability to document and create user guides for various websites using an existing template/format.
  • Experience with Webflow.
  • Team player with the ability to manage projects, communicate effectively, and exhibit high attention to detail.
