At Capiteq, we are expanding our team with a seasoned IT Systems Engineer to lead the development and maintenance of cloud infrastructure and ensure its security and reliability.

This remote-first position is ideal for a cloud infrastructure expert with deep experience in Microsoft Azure and M365.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cloud & Infrastructure Operations
    • Provide L1/L2 support for cloud and on-prem systems.
    • Maintain system health, perform patching, backups, and configuration reviews.
    • Troubleshoot escalated issues across Microsoft 365, Azure, AWS, and GCP.
  • Network & Security Administration
    • Administer Azure and Microsoft 365 including compute, IAM, and monitoring.
    • Enforce cloud governance, tagging, and cost optimisation.
    • Support automation using Terraform, Ansible, and scripting (PowerShell, Python, Bash).
    • Administer Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Intune, Defender, and Purview.
    • Manage identities, licensing, conditional access, and compliance policies.
  • Backup & Disaster Recovery
    • Execute DR testing and maintain business continuity documentation.
  • Security Operations
    • Monitor and respond to alerts from SIEM, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection platforms.
    • Enforce access controls, MFA, DLP, and compliance standards.
Preferred Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience in financial services or trading environments.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure, AWS, GCP, VMware, and HCI.
  • Familiarity with Citrix, Active Directory, Windows Server, and backup systems.
  • Experience with endpoint protection, threat analysis, and IT monitoring tools.
