Healthcare Credentialing Specialist

This position empowers you to contribute to the administrative backbone of a healthcare startup. You will be responsible for providing comprehensive support for all aspects of the credentialing and re-credentialing process.
Key Responsibilities:- Credentialing Support: Manage applications, conduct primary source verification, and maintain the credentialing database with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local regulations and accreditation standards. Serve as a key point of contact for inquiries and processes related to credentialing.
- Privileging and Onboarding: Prepare necessary documentation and facilitate the credentialing components of new provider onboarding.
- Reporting and Process Improvement: Support the generation of credentialing reports, identify issues, and contribute to the improvement of credentialing processes.
- Experience: 1-3 years of relevant administrative experience, ideally in a healthcare setting or regulated environment. Understanding of data entry, documentation, and administrative workflows is valuable.
- Collaborative & Independent Contribution: Ability to work within a team environment, contributing to collective success, and managing tasks independently with minimal supervision.
- Administrative Acumen: A keen eye for detail and methodical approach to managing documentation and data. Eagerness to learn and develop expertise in healthcare credentialing standards and compliance.
- Problem-Solving: Strong attention to detail and systematic approach to identifying and resolving discrepancies or issues in data and documentation.
- Process Improvement Mindset: Proactive approach to identifying opportunities for improving administrative workflows and data management practices.

- Tech Proficiency: Proficient in Google Suite, Slack, CRM/support software, and comfortable learning new EHR/credentialing management tools.
