FPT Smart Cloud is seeking a skilled Data Platform Engineer to join our team in Hanoi.

Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced professional to design, build, and operate cloud-native data platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Kubernetes, Docker, and microservices architecture, as well as hands-on experience with deploying or operating Data Platform services such as Kafka, Airflow, and Spark.

Responsibilities
  • Design technical architecture for cloud data platform services, including data ingestion, processing, storage, query, visualization, security, and governance.
  • Implement and integrate Data Platform components using technologies such as Kafka, NiFi, Airflow, Spark, Flink, Iceberg, Trino, Superset, and dbt.
  • Build and operate CI/CD systems and infrastructure as code (Terraform, Helm, ArgoCD).
  • Research and propose new technologies to optimize performance and enhance the product.
Requirements
  • 3–5 years of experience in DataOps, DevOps, Platform Engineer, or Data Engineer roles.
  • Proficiency in Kubernetes, Docker, and microservices architecture.
  • Hands-on experience deploying or operating at least some Data Platform services.
  • Strong scripting skills (Python or Bash).
  • Experience with CI/CD and GitOps (GitLab CI, Jenkins, or ArgoCD).
  • Basic understanding of data pipelines and data engineering concepts.
