Job Title: Accounting Reporting Specialist

The Accounting Reporting Specialist role is a key position in the accounting department, responsible for supporting the Director of Accounting Reporting. This individual will play a crucial part in ensuring timely and accurate month-end functions.

This role is ideal for an experienced accounting professional with a strong background in financial reporting and US GAAP compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in preparing consolidated financial statements and footnotes in accordance with US GAAP.
  • Develop and maintain various schedules to support financial statement preparation.
  • Prepare reconciliations and journal entries for intercompany activities.
  • Review standalone financial statements of subsidiaries to ensure accurate disclosures.
  • Collaborate extensively with ERP systems to create customized reports for data analysis and reconciliation.
  • Identify process improvements and implement efficiencies.
  • Support the accounting team during month-end close.
  • Provide necessary documentation and information to external auditors.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting; CPA or equivalent international certification preferred.
  • 6-10 years of progressive accounting experience, including consolidations and US GAAP reporting.
  • Strong technical accounting expertise, especially in intercompany eliminations.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.
  • Fluent in English with excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to analyze large datasets accurately.
