**About the Role**

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Accountant to join our team. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing accounts payable activities and maintaining the general ledger to ensure accurate and timely financial records.

You will establish and implement standardized financial workflows, processes, and internal controls to enhance accuracy and compliance. You will contribute to month-end closing activities, including account reconciliations and preparation of financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include providing detailed budget-to-actual analyses and collaborating with stakeholders to address discrepancies. You will perform monthly reconciliations and in-depth reviews of balance sheet and income statement accounts. Additionally, you will prepare and maintain cash flow forecasts to support financial planning and decision-making.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**

  • Proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel is essential.
  • Familiarity with US GAAP standards is required; CPA certification is a plus.
  • Experience in managing end-to-end accounting activities and financial reporting is necessary.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a remote setup are required.
