The Job Description

Your main task is designing and building mobile applications using React Native. Your responsibilities may also include:

  • Supporting component design, development and maintenance.
  • Defining structured practices in source code management, building and deployment.
  • Designing and implementing data fetching and persistence solutions.
  • Optimising performance in applications for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Getting feedback from users and clients, and building solutions for them.
  • Assisting with the analysis of client requirements.
Requirements

We are looking for someone with:

  • Significant React Native development experience.
  • Expert knowledge of React Native architecture, navigation patterns, and performance optimisation.
  • Proficiency with platform-specific implementations (iOS/Android).
  • Experience with state management solutions (Redux Toolkit, Zustand, Context API).
  • Strong understanding of mobile app lifecycle, memory management, and performance best practices.
  • Knowledge of offline data synchronisation and caching strategies.
  • Understanding of accessibility standards and internationalisation.
  • Practical experience of delivering in an agile environment.
  • Deep understanding of versioning control tools - Git in particular.
  • Excellent analytical and multitasking skills.
