Automotive Support Specialist

As a Vehicle Technical Assistance Agent, you will provide expert support to dealer automotive technicians by diagnosing complex technical issues and offering solutions related to vehicle performance and repairs.

This role combines in-depth automotive knowledge with exceptional customer service skills to ensure efficient problem resolution and high customer satisfaction for domestic automotive dealers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support to customers and technicians via phone, email, or chat.
  • Analyze reported problems, identify root causes, and provide clear, actionable solutions.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, technical issues, and resolutions using the company's CRM system.
  • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to relay customer feedback and contribute to product improvements.
  • Stay updated on the latest vehicle technologies and repair techniques through continuous learning and training.
  • Ensure that all provided solutions meet company standards and contribute to overall customer satisfaction.

Our ideal candidate has a strong understanding of vehicle systems, diagnostics, and repair processes. They possess excellent verbal and written communication abilities, with a focus on clear and empathetic customer interactions.

Requirements:
  • A degree in Automotive Technology (certificate or diploma) preferred, or equivalent job experience.
  • Certifications: State or ASE Certified.
  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience as an Automotive Technician (dealership preferred).
  • Technical Skills: Expert understanding of vehicle systems, diagnostics, and repair processes.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to think critically and provide effective solutions under pressure.
