Senior Auditor

We are seeking a seasoned Internal Auditor to join our organization. As a senior internal auditor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effectiveness of our company's internal controls and compliance with regulatory requirements.

This is a challenging opportunity to leverage your audit expertise and analytical skills to identify areas for improvement and drive positive change within our organization.

You will be responsible for planning and executing SOX audits, documenting and analyzing audit evidence, and preparing clear, accurate audit workpapers and reports.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and execute SOX audits per plan or management/Audit Committee requests
  • Document and analyze audit evidence to support findings
  • Prepare clear, accurate audit workpapers and reports
  • Identify control gaps and track remediation efforts
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external auditors
  • Advise on internal control best practices and promote audit awareness
  • Stay current on business operations, IT, and industry standards
  • Communicate audit insights and actionable recommendations
  • Assess emerging risks and promote data analytics and automation
RequirementsNon-negotiables
  • 2-4 years of audit experience (public accounting or internal audit in a US-listed public company)
  • Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master's a plus)
  • CPA REQUIRED
  • Strong knowledge of internal control frameworks (COSO, COBIT) and SOX compliance - REQUIRED
  • Experience auditing key business processes (e.g., Revenue, Procure to Pay, Financial Statement Close)
  • Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently with a high level of integrity and accountability
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and audit tools (e.g., AuditBoard/SOXHub)
  • Willingness to travel as needed
