Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Cybersecurity Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our Security Operations Center (SOC), you will play a vital role in protecting our customers' networks and systems from cyber threats.

This is a remote opportunity that requires strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of network security concepts, TCP/IP networking, and experience with various security products, including Cisco, Fortinet, and Palo Alto.

In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing and responding to security events, configuring and managing security platforms, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze and respond to security events from firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and other security data sources.
  • Configure, manage, and upgrade security platforms, including firewalls, IDS, IVS, and IPS.
  • Interface with customers in a polite, positive, and professional manner.
  • Take responsibility for customer satisfaction and overall success of managed services.
  • Respond in a timely manner to support tickets.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Intermediate skills/knowledge in network security concepts, TCP/IP networking, and security products.
  • Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong English communication skills (oral and written).
  • Self-managed and team-oriented individual with a deadline and detail-oriented mindset.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent, and preferably a college or university degree.
