Laboratory Specialist

About the Role:

The Laboratory Specialist - Chemical Research will be responsible for preparing and analyzing samples for testing, maintaining and calibrating laboratory equipment, documenting experimental results, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Prepare and Analyze Samples: The Laboratory Specialist - Chemical Research will be responsible for preparing and analyzing samples for testing, using various laboratory techniques and instruments.
2. Maintain Laboratory Equipment: The incumbent will be responsible for maintaining and calibrating laboratory equipment to ensure accuracy and precision in experimental results.
3. Document Experimental Results: The Laboratory Specialist - Chemical Research will document experimental results and analyze data to identify trends and patterns.
4. Ensure Compliance: The incumbent will ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Chemistry or Chemical Engineering.
• Preferably with 1 year of laboratory experience.
• Strong knowledge of laboratory safety protocols.
• Proficient in using laboratory equipment and instruments.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in experimental procedures.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
