Embedded IoT Sales Professional

We are seeking a seasoned sales expert to drive growth in embedded IoT solutions.

About the Role

This is a key account development and prospecting sales role that requires strategic thinking, industry expertise, and exceptional communication skills. The ideal candidate will be able to understand customer needs, develop strong relationships, and position our open source, services, and software solutions effectively across all levels of an organization.

The server edition of Ubuntu is widely used in connected devices and industrial PCs, while our newer edition, Ubuntu Core, represents the state of the art in security and resilience for high-end appliances and equipment.

We are hiring sales professionals to expand our reach in mission-critical industries such as Automotive, Medical Devices, Industrial Systems, Robotics, and Telco, as well as consumer electronics.

Key Responsibilities
  • BUILDING STRATEGIC RELATIONSHIPS: Developing and executing territory plans to prioritize leading security-focused brands and manufacturers.
  • MARKETING SUPPORT: Collaborating with marketing teams to promote our brand and increase market awareness in prioritized accounts.
  • Pipeline Development: Driving pipeline growth through outreach, prospecting, local marketing, and industry events.
  • CLOSURE AND CONTRACT NEGOTIATION: Closing contracts to meet and exceed quarterly and annual bookings targets and achieve strategic objectives.
