About the Role
The Financial Operations Specialist will be responsible for performing various financial tasks, including data entry, account reconciliations, and financial reporting. The successful candidate will have a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail, with the ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.
Responsibilities
- Daily Transactions: Enter daily transactions for accounts payable, accounts receivable, and purchase orders.
- Cash Position Monitoring: Weekly monitoring of client's cash position to ensure accurate financial records.
- Payroll Computation: Calculate and generate government-mandated contributions for employees.
- Tax Submissions: Prepare and submit tax submissions, including 1601C, 0619E, 2550M, and their quarterly counterparts 2550Q, 1702Q, 1601EQ.
- Bank Reconciliation: Perform monthly bank reconciliation to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
- Inventory Management: Conduct physical inventory counts as needed to maintain accurate stock levels.
- Ad Hoc Projects: Assist in ad-hoc accounting and admin projects, which may include budget preparation, costing, inventory management, external audit, etc.
Requirements
- Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or related field.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting, preferably with knowledge of QuickBooks.
- Skills: Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
Salary Information
The estimated salary for this role is $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. This is a full-time position based in Makati City, Philippines.
