The Job Opportunity:

We are seeking an accomplished lead full stack engineer to play a pivotal role in our technology organization. The successful candidate will work closely with individual contributors and senior leadership to drive technical innovations, shaping the future of our company.


Responsibilities:
  • Maintain ownership and responsibility of mission-critical systems.
  • Design and implement new high-volume platforms using cutting-edge technologies like React and GraphQL
  • Mentor and coach other software engineers to help them grow in their careers.
  • Contribute to agile and scrum practices, ensuring the delivery of high-quality products on time.
  • Lead crucial technical projects and initiatives across teams and departments.

Requirements:
  • At least 7 years of experience developing web applications in client-side frameworks such as React, Angular, VueJS, etc.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a quantitative field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Strong understanding of agile methodologies, analytics, A/B testing, feature flags, Continuous Delivery, Trunk-based Development.
  • Excellent HTML/CSS skills, with a focus on making data look great too.
  • Proficient in object-oriented JavaScript, TypeScript.
  • Able to adapt quickly to new technologies and approaches, with a willingness to continually evolve the tech stack.
  • Great communication and coordination skills, with excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong command of the English language.

Bonus Points:
  • Knowledge of physical architecture at scale, including building resilient solutions with no single point of failure.
  • Experience with NoSQL technologies, queueing systems, and containerization.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD solutions, client-side performance optimization, and modern coding practices.
  • Experience leading teams and greenfield projects to solve large system problems.
  • Familiarity with global projects serving world markets with distributed data centers and localization of the front end and data.
