Financial Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to support our office operations. This role involves a range of responsibilities including invoice processing, payroll management, reporting, and budgeting.
- Process and enter invoices accurately and in a timely manner
- Manage commission payments for sales representatives
- Prepare and maintain Excel spreadsheets with complex formulas
- Handle payroll processing in compliance with Australian laws
- Prepare and submit Business Activity Statements
- Generate monthly financial reports
- Oversee debt collection processes
- Assist in budgeting and financial forecasting
- Ensure compliance with Australian tax and payroll regulations
The ideal candidate will have experience with Premier accounting software, strong proficiency in Excel (including formulas), and a solid understanding of Australian payroll and tax laws.
This is a remote role that will be set up as an independent contractor engagement.
- Be available for meetings and collaboration during core business hours
- Disclose any existing ongoing roles or client work
- Reflect this engagement on their LinkedIn profile clearly marked as Independent Contractor
This is a mid-senior level full-time position. The selected candidate will be expected to work exclusively with our client for the duration of the engagement.
