Financial Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled accounting leader to oversee consolidated financials and support an acquisitive growth strategy.

About the Role:
  • Consolidate financial statements across multiple subsidiaries, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
  • Partner with operating company controllers to close monthly books, fostering a collaborative environment and driving operational efficiency.
  • Oversee holding company accounting functions, including payroll and accounts payable, leveraging expertise to optimize processes and reduce costs.
  • Support annual tax filings, audits, and purchase price accounting during acquisitions, providing strategic guidance and risk management.
  • Help build scalable accounting policies and processes for a fast-growing organization, driving innovation and excellence.
Requirements:
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and independent decision-making skills, with a proven track record of success.
  • Proficient in QuickBooks and other accounting software, with the ability to adapt to new systems and technologies.
  • A self-starter comfortable in a dynamic environment with evolving policies, able to navigate ambiguity and prioritize tasks effectively.
Experience:
  • 4+ years in accounting leadership roles, preferably with exposure to mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and consolidation.
  • Experience with multi-entity financial reporting and fast-paced growth environments, with a strong understanding of financial analysis and planning.
  • Background in acquisitive companies preferred, with a demonstrated ability to drive growth and profitability through strategic financial initiatives.
