Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Staff to support the implementation and maintenance of quality control and food safety programs within our food production environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of raw materials, in-process production, and finished goods through regular inspection, testing, and compliance monitoring.
Responsibilities:
- Inspect raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods for quality compliance.
- Conduct sensory evaluations and ensure proper packaging and labeling.
- Monitor hygiene, safety, and regulatory adherence in processing areas.
- Identify and mitigate production hazards in collaboration with teams.
- Perform internal audits, report findings, and implement corrective actions.
- Investigate product defects, recommend solutions, and track issue resolutions.
- Promote food safety and quality awareness across departments.
- Suggest process improvements for enhanced quality and efficiency.
- Stay updated on food safety standards and maintain accurate records.
Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, or a related field.
- Prior experience in a food manufacturing or quality assurance environment.
- Knowledgeable in using the SAP system.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations (e.g., HACCP, GMP) and quality control practices.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and reporting.
- Basic laboratory testing skills and understanding of food safety protocols.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and follow instructions.
