Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced 2D Echocardiography Technologist to join our Diagnostic Imaging team at Msaph. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing echocardiograms on patients using advanced ultrasound technology. Primary duties include:

  • Equipment Calibration: Calibrate the echocardiogram equipment according to physician orders, ensuring optimal performance and safety standards.
  • Patient Preparation: Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process, obtaining necessary consent, and positioning them correctly for imaging.
  • Procedure Execution: Operate the echocardiogram equipment to capture high-quality images and measurements, adhering to strict protocols and guidelines.
  • Data Management: Accurately document all relevant patient information, including measurements, images, and test results, for review by cardiologists.
  • Administrative Tasks: Process patient bills and submit charge slips with official receipt numbers to supervisors for processing.

We are looking for a detail-oriented professional who can work accurately in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks effectively, and maintain excellent communication skills when interacting with patients, colleagues, and physicians.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Education: Graduate of any 4-year Allied Health course.
  • Experience: Preferably with 2D Echo training or experience.
  • Clinical and Technical Skills: Possess good clinical and technical skills, with ability to operate echocardiogram equipment efficiently.
  • Computer Literacy: Proficient in computer systems and software used for documentation and data entry.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with patients, colleagues, and physicians.
