Embedded Linux Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Embedded Linux Engineer to join our team. As a key member, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality solutions and working closely with customers to understand their requirements.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in embedded Linux development, with a strong understanding of distribution packaging, software design, and system debugging. They will also possess excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage with customers to gather requirements and explain Canonical technology
  • Develop solutions to meet customer needs and participate in project delivery
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to convey market requirements and contribute to solution development
  • Advise customers on Canonical products and services
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Fluent Mandarin language skills and willingness to travel regularly
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Extensive Linux experience, preferably with Debian or Ubuntu
  • Distribution/Packaging experience (deb, rpm, ...)
  • Solid embedded Linux experience (Yocto, Buildroot...)
  • Proficiency in at least one of Golang, Python, C, C++, or Rust
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills
  • Strong communication and presentation abilities
