Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Business Development Manager to lead our global team in driving business growth and expansion. This individual will be responsible for providing strategic guidance, recruiting and developing talent, and ensuring the team meets aggressive growth goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute strategies to exceed new business pipeline generation targets for Enterprise Account Executives.
  • Broaden the reach of Business Development Reps through a well-defined Business Development plan.
  • Support BDRs throughout onboarding, ramp-up, and ongoing coaching and development.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of Cofense's technology stack to facilitate lead follow-up and proactive outreach.
  • Host weekly 1:1 review meetings and daily team 'huddles' to share best practices.
  • Cultivate direct reports' ability to increase conversion rates.
  • Foster strong relationships with Marketing, Regional Sales Directors, Sales Operations, Recruitment, and HR teams.
  • Attend weekly Sales Team meetings to maintain alignment with Field Sales.
  • Monitor team performance against key KPIs and drive the team forward to exceed expectations.
  • Implement innovative processes, tools, communications, training, and methodologies to ensure team evolution.
  • Occasional travel and ability to represent the company at events.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Understanding of the Business Development role.
  • Expertise in coaching and leading business development teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to accurately report.
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple high-priority tasks.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Understanding of information security concepts and industry landscape.
  • Ability to provide regular metrics on key activity.
  • Experience in developing talent that progresses through the business.
