Supply Chain Consultant

We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Consultant to join our team.

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will have significant experience in implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations ERP, with a strong understanding of manufacturing, inventory, and master planning processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Sales Team in responding to requests for proposal (RFPs) by providing detailed functional requirements or answering questions.
  • Work closely with the Sales Team and lead sales discovery sessions to determine possible solutions to customer challenges.
  • Develop business scenarios relevant to the customer based on information gathered during discovery sessions.
  • Configure D365 for Order Management, Item Management, Inventory, Master Planning, Warehousing, Procurement, Vendor Management, Vendor Portal, and Manufacturing to support business scenarios and test the configured processes.
  • Provide solution demonstrations and presentations using PowerPoint and live system walkthroughs.
  • Document proposed solution overviews, including possible integrations, based on RFPs and information gathered during discovery sessions.
  • Write design documents for customizations and reports for D365, capturing boundary conditions and including comprehensive test scenarios.
  • Review design documents, data mapping, and integration mapping written by other team members.
  • Lead conference room pilot (CRP) and training for D365 and associated systems to clients and team members.
  • Conduct one training session at Unify University annually.
  • Write 2-3 D365 SCM functional blog articles per year for the company blog.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • At least 5+ years of experience in implementing Dynamics 365 Finance Operations and Dynamics AX2012R3
  • Knowledge of Manufacturing, Inventory, and Master Planning
  • Excellent communication skills
