Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Automation Process Engineer to enhance our operational efficiency. As the core of our automation efforts, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cross-platform automations that integrate various systems.

The ideal candidate is a systems-minded individual with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. You will collaborate with operations and cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities, design workflows, and implement process improvements.

About the Role:

  • Partner with operations and cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities, design workflows, and implement process improvements.
  • Create and maintain automated workflows using n8n, ensuring efficient and reliable execution across multiple business systems.
  • Develop and manage Power Automate flows and Power Query transformations to streamline data handling, reporting, and operational dashboards.
  • Connect and synchronize Airtable, Microsoft ecosystem tools, JIRA, Basecamp, and other SaaS platforms via APIs, webhooks, and automation flows.
  • Monitor automated workflows, troubleshoot errors, and optimize performance for reliability and scalability.
  • Maintain clear documentation for all automations and provide training or guidance to ensure solutions are sustainable.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • Proven experience with n8n workflow automation (must-have).
  • Strong proficiency in Airtable (schemas, formulas, automations, API integration).
  • Skilled in Power Automate and Power Query for Microsoft 365 environments.
  • Hands-on experience with REST APIs, webhooks, and JSON for integrations.
  • Familiarity with project management tools such as JIRA and Basecamp, including automation of tasks and reporting.
  • Bonus: Experience with Zapier, Make.com, or scripting (JavaScript/Python).
