**Job Description**

We are seeking an experienced Safety and Environmental Officer to join our team at William Hill PLC.

The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing safety and environmental policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for employees and other stakeholders.

This includes investigating incidents and accidents, conducting risk assessments, and providing training and education on safety and environmental best practices.

The role requires strong communication skills, as the successful candidate will work closely with Facilities and Admin Manager/Occupational Safety Chairman to direct and monitor compliance to local occupational health laws.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain OSH and PCOEM metrics and KPIs, identifying opportunities to improve safety and health on a higher level.
  • Maintain and monitor OSH and PCOEM projects and activities financially.
  • Work closely with the Facilities and Admin Manager/Occupational Safety Chairman to direct and monitor compliance to local occupational health laws.
  • Act as Pollution Control Officer (PCO) for WHG in charge of proper handling of hazardous waste and materials.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's/College Degree preferably in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • At least four (4) years HSW/Safety Officer experience required.
  • Background in Facilities Supervision/Management preferred.
