**Mainframe Cobol Developer Role**

At Vertere Global Solutions, Inc., we are seeking a skilled mainframe developer with expertise in COBOL programming language to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and support mainframe applications using COBOL.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Design and execute unit tests and integration tests to ensure software quality and functionality.
  • Troubleshoot and debug software issues, providing timely resolution to meet customer needs and specifications.

Requirements:

  • Expert proficiency in COBOL programming language.
  • Good to have: DB2, IMS, or FOCUS.
  • Strong understanding of Application Support and Maintenance.
  • Experience with relational databases and SQL.

Additional Information:

The ideal candidate should have 2 years of experience in COBOL programming language and a strong passion for mainframe development.
