Key Role: Software Development Lead

As a seasoned software engineer, you will play a pivotal part in driving the development of our Android core product. Your role will be crucial in supporting our expanding user base and contributing to new projects that propel the product forward. Primary Responsibilities
  • Develop high-quality features for our mobile app in collaboration with the design team.
  • Shape the future direction of our Android team.
  • Oversee reliability metrics for key features and implement improvements.
  • Engage in cross-functional discussions with Product, Design, and Engineering teams.
  • Review code submissions and provide support to fellow engineers.
  • Address critical issues and unexpected challenges efficiently.
  • Own feature releases and facilitate nightly builds for QA testing.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in software engineering.
  • Familiarity with Android components and their applications.
  • Experience in developing or contributing to at least one Android-based application.
  • Strong intuition for product design and user empathy.
  • Ambition to innovate and push the boundaries of Android UI/UX.
  • Understanding of testing principles and ability to write effective tests.
  • Motivation to enhance the app and codebase beyond specifications.
  • Expertise in Kotlin, Kotlin Coroutines, Kotlin Flow, Dagger 2, MVVM, Clean Architecture, Background Services, Android Animations, Jetpack Navigation, and JUnit tests.
  • Excellent communication skills and a customer-centric problem-solving approach.
  • Ability to work under continuous feedback from leaders.
