Senior AWS Site Reliability Engineer Role

As a seasoned Senior AWS Site Reliability Engineer, you will lead the implementation of comprehensive incident response strategies to minimize downtime and business impact.

This role combines deep technical expertise in AWS cloud infrastructure with strong leadership capabilities. You will develop and maintain scalable, reliable, and cost-efficient AWS infrastructure using Terraform.

  • Lead incident response from initial detection, real-time mitigation, root cause analysis, post-mortem documentation, and implementation of lessons learned.
  • Develop and implement incident response strategies to ensure continuous system availability.
  • Maintain, improve, and optimize AWS infrastructure for scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation to ensure system availability.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in DevOps or SRE roles.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven experience in incident response and 24/7 on-call responsibilities.
  • Expert-level knowledge of Infrastructure as Code, primarily Terraform.
  • Expert-level knowledge of AWS compute infrastructure.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with incident.io.
  • AWS certifications.
  • Knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments.
