We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to join our team as an XMPie Template Developer.

About the Role

This role focuses on creating and implementing variable data print (VDP) and cross-media marketing templates using XMPie software based on specifications from our ticketing system. As an XMPie Template Developer, you will create high-quality templates that meet the requirements of our clients and help us deliver exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create XMPie uDirect, uCreate, and uProduce templates according to specifications provided through the ticket management system.
  • Develop variable data templates for print, email, web, and mobile channels, ensuring seamless integration and personalization.
  • Implement complex personalization rules, conditional logic, and dynamic content blocks, maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Configure ADOR (Automatic Dynamic Output Rules) for multi-channel campaigns, ensuring optimal results and brand consistency.
  • Set up data mappings between templates and customer databases or data sources, guaranteeing precise and efficient data transfer.
  • Process incoming tickets and interpret technical requirements, mockups, and brand guidelines, providing clear communication with stakeholders.
  • Configure variable elements including text, images, barcodes, QR codes, and charts, maintaining proper color management and print specifications.
  • Create and maintain reusable asset libraries and template components, promoting efficiency and scalability.
  • Perform thorough testing of all personalization logic and variable elements, validating data merge accuracy and output across different channels.
  • Troubleshoot template issues and resolve technical problems, documenting solutions for future reference.
Requirements
  • Proficiency in XMPie software suite (uDirect, uCreate, uProduce, Circle)
  • Strong understanding of variable data printing concepts and workflows
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
  • Understanding of database concepts and data file formats (CSV, XML, JSON)
  • 2+ years of experience creating XMPie templates or similar VDP solutions
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in technical work
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and logical thinking
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
