Fire Alarm System Specialist

AJ-SSENT INC is seeking a skilled Fire Alarm System Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our facilities management department, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of occupants in various buildings and facilities.

• Installation: Design, install, and test fire alarm systems, including wiring, sensors, control panels, and other components. This requires a strong understanding of electrical codes and manufacturer instructions.
• Maintenance: Regularly inspect and test existing fire alarm systems to ensure they are functioning correctly. This includes checking smoke detectors, heat detectors, fire suppression systems, and other equipment.
• Troubleshooting and Repair: Diagnose and repair malfunctions in fire alarm systems. This may involve identifying faulty components, replacing parts, and running diagnostic tests.
• Programming: Configure and program fire alarm systems to meet specific building requirements and safety codes. This includes setting up alarm thresholds, notification systems, and other parameters.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed records of inspections, repairs, and system modifications.
• Customer Service: Interact with building owners, property managers, and other stakeholders to explain system operation, address concerns, and schedule maintenance.
