Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Beverage Specialist to join our team at Paperback & Lattes. As a key member of our coffee shop staff, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality beverages while providing exceptional customer service.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Brew and serve a variety of specialty beverages, including coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and milk-based drinks.
  • Operate coffee-making equipment, such as espresso machines and grinders.
  • Customize drinks according to customer preferences, ensuring the right temperature, strength, and presentation.
  • Greet customers warmly and take their orders, providing information about our menu and recommending drinks when needed.
  • Ensure that customers have an enjoyable experience and address any concerns or issues promptly.


Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience in a fast-paced environment, preferably in a customer-facing role.
  • Strong communication and multitasking skills, with the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
  • Ability to operate coffee-making equipment and handle cash transactions accurately.
  • Physical stamina to stand for long periods, lift up to 25 pounds, and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed.


The salary for this position is estimated to be around $40,000-$60,000 per year, depending on location and experience. We offer a competitive benefits package, including opportunities for career growth and professional development.
